Wellness on the Water
Eastport Yacht Club and Wellness House of Annapolis
Wellness on the Water (WOW) is a partnership between Wellness House of Annapolis (WH) and Eastport Yacht Club (EYC). EYC captains and crew will be taking WH members, their families, and caregivers for an afternoon or evening boat ride on the bay. This is a spirit-lifting day on the water that brings laughter, fun, and healing to our WH members and families! An afternoon or evening on the water is a beautiful way to reconnect with nature, each other, and ourselves.
The Wellness on the Water Launch Party is a fundraiser that helps others in the community with a cancer diagnosis to experience this program, as well as many others at Wellness House of Annapolis.
Your money goes a long way in providing support to our community. For example:
• $500.00 is equal to 5 counseling sessions for an individual experiencing a cancer diagnosis.
• $1,500.00 is equal to supporting yoga classes for a month for 10 members.
• $2,500.00 is equal to sending 7 children to our summer day camp for a week where they learn important coping skills to handle a loved one’s cancer diagnosis.
But, even more importantly the money you donate goes towards providing these mental health and support services for FREE to thousands of individuals with cancer, their caregivers, and family members. Every ticket purchased directly supports the funding of these services for our community.
