Follow Your Rainbow
A cancer diagnosis in any family can be a challenge; but in a family where there are young kids of elementary school age it can be a special challenge. Kids like rhythm, structure, balance and security in knowing their parents are in charge and have life under control for them. When cancer strikes this balance can be disrupted, which can cause turmoil for some kids.
Follow Your Rainbow is a monthly support group for elementary school aged children providing camaraderie, fun, support, adventure, and an understanding and affirmation of feelings as these children experience their family coping with a cancer diagnosis.
